Casey, Illinois is an awesome town full of amazing Big Things. Right now, they is an amazing 12 World’s Largest items and other Big Things! When my wife and I were coming back from Chicago, we made a special stop in Casey. We had so much fun looking at and taking pictures of their giant wonders. I highly suggest you visit and see all the giant things they have. Don’t forget to explore their cool, historic downtown area. It’s totally worth it!

Brief History of the Location

Looking to visit the World’s Largest Golf Tee? It’s situated in Casey, Illinois, a short distance south of I-70, where you can come and marvel at this enormous Golf Tee.

The World’s Largest Golf Tee is an impressive 30 feet tall and weighs a whopping 6,659 pounds. It was created to spark interest in Casey’s public golf course. The construction process started in July 2012 by laminating lumber to form the rough shape of the tee. A chainsaw and sander were then used to shape and smooth its surface. Finally, in May 2013, the Golf Tee officially earned its title as the “World’s Largest.”
